This is the east side of the house. You can barely see the foundation walls as they are mostly below grade looking from this side. This is the side the garage and driveway will be. The lot slopes down about 7 feet east to west. The basement walls are cured and they have removed the forms and applied the waterproofing. Next step will be to start framing. Today we met with our builder and made some final selections on the windows so they can get those ordered. Depending on the weather, framing is expected to take 3-4 weeks. We should start to see the shape of the house soon.
Also met our new neighbor across the street and they have 3 kids, ages 9, 5 and 4. Perfect! Their house is framed and is a french cottage style. They were just putting in the front door today.
